Mission:
To create a thriving community of alumni and students, actively participating in strengthening the SIMSREE brand through financial and non-financial initiatives, enhancing faculty and knowledge resources, fostering industry interactions, adopting cutting-edge technology, and organizing networking events
Goals:
1. To encourage alumni to actively participate, volunteer & contribute to the greatness of our Institute.

Career Catalyst Program
Program Overview
The institute has started the ‘Career Catalyst Program’, an initiative aimed at providing students with invaluable insights from distinguished industry experts. The program’s primary objective is to offer students a profound understanding of an expert’s approach to work, thereby enhancing their professional perspectives.
Maximum emphasis is placed on a detailed, workshop-oriented approach, where esteemed individuals share their lifelong learnings with the batch without any filter and delve into the nitty-gritty aspects of building successful businesses.

The Placement Booster Day was a focused initiative aimed at equipping unplaced students with the necessary tools, confidence, and direction for their upcoming placement processes. Conducted in collaboration with the Simarthan Foundation—the alumni body of SIMSREE—the event featured thoughtfully curated sessions by experienced alumni and industry professionals.

Resume Building Workshop
Speaker: Ms. Sonal Wagle
The day began with a practical and interactive session on resume building, where Ms. Sonal Wagle engaged students with questions around strengths, weaknesses, and common errors seen in interview responses. She highlighted current market expectations and shared insights from her corporate experience. The session included a one-on-one resume review, with additional personalized sessions offered over upcoming days. -
Confidence and Mindset Development
Speaker: Ms. Arzoo Fakih
Ms. Fakih inspired students with stories of professionals who succeeded despite campus rejections. She guided attendees on techniques for mindfulness, maintaining peace of mind, and shared practical tips on nurturing the right attitude during interviews. Exercises on mental conditioning and positivity were introduced. Students were encouraged to reach out for personal mentoring via her shared contact details. -
Buddy Programme Discussion
With Alumni: Sumedh Deshpande, Nikhil Lashkar, Swaraj Patil
The session commenced with alumni sharing their candid experiences of challenges faced during their placement journeys. They emphasized the importance of perseverance, peer support, and shared how they overcame setbacks through consistent effort. The discussion laid the foundation for building a long-term support network among students and alumni. -
Mock Interviews
Conducted by: Jason Gonsalves, Ashwini Kapila, Mangesh Vaitla, Vijay Agarwal, Sandeep Zutshi, Mukesh Bajaj, and Jyotsna Singh
The mock interview round was opened by Ms. Jyoti Devjani, who contextualized the initiative and its importance. Each panelist introduced themselves, sharing valuable stories from their SIMSREE days. Students had prior access to the panelists’ profiles, helping them prepare strategically. Participants were mapped to alumni based on their specialization. The mock interviews closely mimicked real interviews with resume deep-dives, technical discussions, current affairs, and even group discussions, offering a truly immersive experience.

Simergence Event Support
Simarthan Foundation has been a consistent pillar of support for Simergence, the annual flagship event organized by the CRC at the World Trade Center. Their contribution plays a key role in ensuring the event’s success—ranging from enabling the execution of the event to helping identify and connect with subject matter experts aligned with the theme of the year. This ongoing collaboration ensures that Simergence continues to be a platform where eminent industry leaders share valuable insights on contemporary trends and challenges in the corporate world.
