FULL TIME

MMS

SIMSREE offers the Masters of Management Studies (MMS) course. It is a Two Year Full -Time post graduate degree course affiliated to the University of Mumbai, since 1983. This course is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The program is conducted under the directions of the University of Mumbai with specializations offered in the areas of Finance, Marketing, Operations, HR and Systems.

The MMS admission process is administered by the DTE (Directorate of Technical Education), Maharashtra. DTE is a competent authority of Government of Maharashtra which issues guidelines for an admission process on its CET Cell website https://info.mahacet.org/mahacet/ . DTE also publishes the Rules and Eligibility for admission to the First Years Full Time Post Graduate Degree in MMS for the academic year through information Brochure. DTE selects students by means of Centralised Admission Process (CAP) which are conducted by CET Cell and seats are allotted exclusively on the merit basis.

Course Structure:

All students in the first year follow a common curriculum to get a flavour of all specialisations.

Note: Every student should complete Summer Internship as an integral part of the curriculum to get the broader understanding of corporate world and develop a holistic perspective of the practical aspects of businesses. Assistance for Summer Internships is provided by college.

2nd Year:

Ph.D

It is a Three Years Full Time Programme affiliated to the University of Mumbai. It is designed for those seeking research in the field of management which involves in-depth study, expert guidance and discovering the innovation that will empower future.

The Ph.D topics undertaken at SIMSREE ranges from the role of well-being on employee engagement, effect of music on consumer buying behaviour, customer satisfaction in Indian and foreign banks and advertisement effectiveness.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Post-Graduate Degree in relevant field from any University recognized by UGC
  • PET / NET / SET cleared or Awarded M.Phil. degree

PART TIME

MFM (Master’s Degree In Financial Management)

SIMSREE offers a Three Years Part Time Master’s Degree in Financial Management (MFM). The programme covers all the related areas of finance and accounting with emphasis on managerial application. Candidates having experience in finance or related areas of finance such as management services, project planning and control, corporate planning, management audit, internal audit, marketing analysis and economic analysis will find this programme useful.

Admission process involves shortlisting of candidates based on their profile followed by GD/PI process.

Eligibility Criteria
  • Graduate Degree from any University recognized by UGC
  • Minimum TWO years of work experience in the relevant field

MMM (Master’s Degree In Marketing Management)

SIMSREE offers a Three Years Part Time Master’s Degree in Marketing Management (MMM). The program covers all the related areas of marketing including public sector marketing. It seeks to develop and integrate the top management perspective which is necessary for a marketing executive to move into top level general management positions. Candidates seeking admission to this programme must have a practical experience in any of the following related areas: Marketing Planning, Sales Management, Market Research, Distribution, Public Relations, Advertising, Export Marketing and Applied Economics.

Admission process involves shortlisting of candidates based on their profile followed by GD/PI process.
